Breslin Architects received an award from the American Institute of Architects for the design of this project which involved the construction of a new Middle School adjacent to the existing Middle School. Following completion, the “old” school was vacated and partially demolished so that play fields could be developed. The existing Natatorium and Gymnasium Complex was retained, and physically attached to the new Middle School resulting in a state-of-the-art complex for 1,600 students in grades 5 through 8.
