Breslin Architects received an “Award of Excellence” from the American Institute of Architects for the renovation and expansion of this building.
A feature of the design is an elevated outdoor terrace overlooking the campus which provides a special space for outdoor events and casual dining. Another feature is the high ceiling concourse flanking the dining space. The concourse will connect the main campus to a future residence complex.
The building was constructed using the traditional field stone and limestone of other campus buildings.
